Treatment flow

Animal Hospital Items and Treatments Guide

Treatments are the normal half of Animal Hospital. If you do not understand normal patient care, every room looks suspicious. This guide explains how to think about tools, treatment rooms, usable items, and sanity.

What the public wiki structure shows

Fandom has separate pages for Treatment, Items, Sanity, and common usable items such as antibiotics, bandages, coffee, cough syrup, chocolate, run-fast cola, fire extinguisher, taser, and gun. That does not mean every item solves every run. It means the guide should teach what kind of problem each item belongs to.

Treatment

Patient care

Follow the prompt, room type, and symptom before assuming a patient is fake.

Rooms

X-ray, heart scan, surgery

Room-specific machines increase decision time. Learn their flow before chasing risky anomalies.

Recovery

Bandages and medicine

Basic supplies support normal treatment and can prevent you from wasting time in the wrong room.

Pressure

Coffee and speed items

Movement and timing tools matter when you know where to rotate next.

Danger

Fire extinguisher, taser, gun

Defensive tools should be treated as emergency systems, not a reason to ignore evidence.

Mental state

Sanity

Sanity changes your risk budget. Low sanity means fewer long investigations and faster retreats.

Decision checklist

When an item should be used

  • Use treatment tools when the patient has a normal prompt and no stacked anomaly evidence.
  • Use camera or photo checks before spending time on a patient that looks wrong.
  • Use speed or utility items after you know the route, not before you understand the room.
  • Use defensive tools when an enemy-style encounter forces a survival response.
  • Review monster notes if the same threat ends your run repeatedly.
