Beginner checklist
Safe habits for your first sessions
- Do not sprint into every room. Stop at the doorway and scan the patient before committing.
- Learn common treatment tools first, especially bandages, antibiotics, cough syrup, and room-specific machines.
- Use camera checks for patients that look normal in person but suspicious in timing, posture, or behavior.
- When a run fails, write down what clue you missed instead of only blaming the monster encounter.
- Watch sanity and panic cues. A low-sanity route changes how aggressive you can be.
- After two or three shifts, read the classes guide because stats and utility affect your margin for mistakes.
